While learning a new skill, most of us have a positive attitude, and we seem to thrive once we have learned that skill, soon we forget that positive attitude that filled us with self esteem, when problems arise as they will, there will be sick family members, deadlines to meet, and a whole host of setbacks. While developing an I can attitude to improve self esteem, you must turn off that inner dialog of I can't manage, I can't handle this, and the popular one, I can't learn this.
Improving self esteem begins with your way of thinking; first you have to rid your life of all of the negative feedback that you give yourself. Start to look within and see yourself as a smart, kind loving person, who is capable of anything. Then slowly you will begin to develop an attitude of I can.
Instead of saying, I can't handle this, you will say, I can handle this. Instead of saying, I can't learn this you will say, I will learn this. Instead of saying, I can't manage this you will say, I will manage this.
